FILMS

APET, GPET, PET/PE, Specialised film

All Hanex films have three layers and are mainly made from recycled materials. They can be mass dyed, and they are all also permitted for contact with food. Hanex has 4 production lines, where 1,200 tonnes of film are made every month! The company produces a wide range of films depending on their intended use. These are the foils of APET, GGG, GRG, GAG type and also the specialist foils, such as antistatic or barrier ones or the foils made entirely of the recycled materials. The offer also includes PET/PE and PET/EVOH/PE laminates. At the customer’s request, Hanex also produces peelable versions of laminates. It also has special G-PET films, highly regarded by the medical industry.

APET film

A-PET (A/A/A) – all layers are made from primary material (pure PET granulate)
R-PET (A/B/A) – the internal B layer – approx. 70-80% – is made from recycled materials

Dimensions:
The film is available in rolls of widths from 200 mm to 1400 mm (+/- 1 mm tolerance for all widths)
Outer spool of the roll up to 1200 mm film thickness from 0.15 mm to 1.2 mm, available each 0.05 mm (+/- 5% tolerance for films from 0.15 mm to 0.49 mm thick, +/- 3% tolerance for films from 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm thick)
For films of thickness: 0.15 mm – 0.20 mm (min width 350 mm, max roll diameter 400 mm)

Technical specification:
Density 1.35g/cm³ ± 0.05 g/cm³
Temperature stability range from -20°C to +60°C
Vitrification temperature approx. 80°C
Melting point approx. 256°C
Pluck resistance above 28MPa
foamed and antistatic.

PETG film

PETG film (polyethylene terephthalate-glycol) is available in the following configurations:
GGG – all three layers made from PETG granulate
GAG – inner layer made from APET granulate
GRG – inner layer made from recycled materials

Dimensions:
The film is available in rolls of widths from 250 mm to 1400 mm (+/- 1 mm tolerance for all widths)

Density GGG – 1.3g/cm³ ± 0.05 g/cm³
GAG/GRG – 1.35g/cm³ ± 0.05 g/cm³
Temperature stability range from -20°C to +60°C
Vitrification temperature approx. 85°C
Melting point approx. 250°C
Pluck resistance above 28MPa
Recommended pressure welding temperature 70°C – 150°C
(tests are necessary on the final customer’s technological lines)

Folia PET/PE

PET/PE films are “barrier” films
PET laminated with a layer of PE film 50 µm thick. EVOH and PEEL laminate also available (in the configurations: PET/PE, PET/PE/PEEL, PET/EVOH/PE, PET/EVOH/PE/PEEL).
It is used to produce packaging for easily spoiled food products, for example to extend their shelf life. It is applied successfully in the dairy, meat and fish industries, among others.

PET/PE Active +
The film contains an active additive impenetrable for oxygen, improving the barrier properties and lowering the amount of oxygen in the packaging. This solution provides better barrier for oxygen, CO2 and sunlight than EVOH film gives. In addition, residual oxygen contained in the product or between its layers is difficult to remove even in the MAP packing process, but it is actively captured. The unique technology allows very precise control of active and passive properties of the film/packaging towards specific gases, and selection of these for a particular product or storage time.

SPECIALISED film

Medical film
Produced on the basis of APET and GPET granules to meet high quality standards.

RRR film
Of a high aesthetic standard, designed for demanding, ecologically-minded customers. The inner layer is made from recycled PET flakes. The outer layers are made from PET recycled material, purified using the most modern technologies which guarantee they can be used for food in Poland, the EU and the USA.
